Casas Patronales Reserva Rose Syrah
Varietal Composition: 100% Syrah.
Geographic Area: San Clemente, Maule Valley.
Winemaking: The grapes were carefully selected and harvested by hand , preserving the varietal aromas. They were then chilled and pressed to bring out the maximum expression of the fruit. The clarified juice was fermented with selected yeasts in stainless steel tanks at 14°C – 16 °C. In order to retain the fresh sensation of the wine, it did not undergo a malolactic fermentation. The wine was then mixed and bottled early to preserve its intense fruitiness.
Winemaker’s Comments: This wine is clean and bright and of a soft, pale pink color with hues of purple from the Syrah. The bouquet is dominated by fresh fruit including strawberries, raspberries, black cherries and hints of violet. On the palate, the wine is smooth and juicy and the acidity is perfectly balanced with the fruit. Notes of blackberry and raspberry bring freshness to the finish.
Food Pairings: Enjoy this wine as an aperitif, or with cheese, lean fish, salad, white meat and pasta with pesto.
Cellaring Recommendations: Three to four years.
Format Types: 750 ml.
